Easy pose. It’s not so easy š
Looking at it, you’re sitting in a cross legged position. Actually sitting in it, this yoga asana, or yoga pose evolves into what you’re here in this asana for. If you’re here for meditation, it’s important to be comfortable as this can actually get tough! It might be called easy, but sometimes it isn’t so easy.
Essentially, easy pose will most certainly help your posture your body is encouraged into a natural, nice alignment with your head, neck, spine and hips.
Watch the video below as we explore this yoga asana with a little movement and a little meditation.
Again, easy pose can take you many places in your practice and if you’re just starting your practice, take time to explore it. Be aware of how your body feels here, what your body is telling you. Are you holding tension anywhere? Is this pose uncomfortable and if so, how can you adjust to make it more comfortable for you.
Yoga is all about exploring. Connecting with our body and listening to what it might need. In turn, exploring asana (yoga poses) can take us to a whole new level mentally and often spiritually as well. We find strength in holding poses, including easy pose! We find strength physically and in turn, mentally as we encourage our bodies to hold poses that might be difficult.
So take some time and really explore this yoga pose.
